When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

Kelly Magne knows that as she watches the clock and sips on a soda. Every day at four o’clock, the president and chief executive officer of Jensen Audio Visual clears her late afternoon schedule for her most important appointment: visiting her husband.

Since January, Magne has been working overtime as she runs her company and takes care of her husband, Michael, who is recovering from a severe skiing accident that left him unable to speak and without many of his motor skills.

“I’ve been living on Diet Coke and M&Ms,” Magne smiles. “I’m running on overtime and burning a lot of energy.”
