About:
Latino Business Awards is the newest member of the Business Times family of events honoring the region’s top companies. For our inaugural year we are seeking nominations in 8 categories. The region’s leading business news publication is recognizing one of the leading segments of the Tri-Counties economy.
Nominations in the following categories:
* Banking and Finance
* Professional & Insurance Services
* Agribusiness
* Large Business Owner/Executive (More than 500 employees).
* Medium Business Owner/Executive (100 to 500 employees).
* Small Business Owner/Executive (100 or fewer employees).
* Non-profit/Health care
* Higher Education
Nominate:
Any business owner or executive can be nominated for the award and self-nominations are welcome! We do require that nominees reside in or conduct most of their business in the Tri-Counties (Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.)
We will base our selections on the nominee’s demonstrated record of success and the recognition they have achieved from professional groups, chambers of commerce and community organizations. We also consider community service in making our selections. We accept multiple nominations for the same person.
Our first round of judging may involve asking for more information about the nominee so please make sure we have contact information in the nomination form.Nomination deadline: May 25, 2012.
