About:
The Business Times and the Los Angeles District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration conceived the Spirit of Small Business to recognize the accomplishments of small businesses. This special section includes articles about small-business award winners, a variety of small-business “how-to” articles and an extensive small-business resource guide.
The Spirit of Small Business honors businesses of fewer than 100 employees in these categories: East Ventura County, West Ventura County, South Santa Barbara County, North Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County, Green Business, Woman-Owned Business, Minority-Owned Business, Green Business and Exporter of the Year.
