Kohl's to open new store and bring 120 jobs to SLO
Kohl’s Department Stores announced on Monday that it will bring approximately 120 new jobs to San Luis Obispo when it opens a store there in September. Kohl’s is opening 30 new stores in California this fall, increasing the number of Kohl’s stores in the state to 121 and hiring an expected 4,200 new employees throughout the state.
The company is hiring associates for customer service, department service, cash register operation, early morning, stocking, truck unloading, housekeeping and evening signage/pricing updates at its new store.
Job fairs will take place in San Luis Obispo at Embassy Suites Hotel at 333 Madonna Rd at the following dates and times:
• Aug. 9; 10:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
• Aug. 10; 10:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
• Aug. 11; 12:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Aug. 12; 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
