As we get ready to put the finishing touches on another year, I wanted to just say a few words about our 10th anniversary accomplishments and talk about new initiatives in the works for 2011.

First, the initiatives. For about a year, our Publisher George Wolverton has been talking about getting a little more flexibility in his schedule after a decade on the job and in the firing line. His new “to do” list includes spending more time with his family.

So, I am delighted to announce that beginning early next year, Linda Le Brock, a former member of the Pacific Coast Business Times advertising sale team, will rejoin our newspaper from her current job as development director at Boys & Girls Club of Oxnard and Port Hueneme.
