RRM Design Group merges with Peikert Group Architects
San Luis Obispo-based RRM Design Group and Santa Barbara-based Peikert Group Architects announced July 1 that the two architecture firms are becoming one.
In the wake of the merger, PGA will continue to operate in Santa Barbara as an RRM company under the name of Peikert+RRM Design Group. RRM, for its part, will continue to operate out of its main office in the city of San Luis Obispo and its other locations in Santa Maria and San Clemente. The firm also has field offices in San Diego, Fresno, El Segundo and Palm Desert.
RRM CEO Erik Justesen said in a news release that the merger “capitalizes on each firms’ strengths and provides high value expertise to existing and future clients.”
According to the news release, PGA focuses on the design of market-rate and affordable multi-family housing, senior housing, mixed use, and commercial projects along the South Coast. RRM provides architecture, engineering and surveying, landscape architecture, planning and graphic design services throughout the state.
