Fess Parker DoubleTree has new general manager
Michael Dunne, area vice president for California at Hilton Hotels Worldwide, announced the appointment of Neil Poisson as general manager of Santa Barbara’s Fess Parker DoubleTree Resort.
In his new role, Poisson will oversee 300 employees in day-to-day operations at the hotel, including guest services, food and beverage, sales and marketing, revenue management, operations and others.
Prior to the appointment, he was general manager of the DoubleTree San Jose, executive assistant manager at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu and resident manager of the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.
With 20 years at the company and 30 years of management experience, Poisson also served as vice president of operations for Packard Hospitality Group and Marcus Hotels. He earned a degree from Carleton University in Ontario, Canada and is a member of the American Hotel Lodging Association.
