FlixBus launches Santa Barbara, Ventura service to LA, Las Vegas

FlixBus, the European mobility startup that launched in the United States a year ago, added Santa Barbara and Ventura to its rapidly-expanding network on June 6.
Residents will be able to travel directly to Las Vegas and Los Angeles as well as connect with other cities in the Flix network.
To introduce the new cities into the network, a limited number of tickets to Los Angeles will be priced at $4.99 and to Las Vegas at $14.99. Thereafter, the lowest ticket price will average $14.99 with prices varying depending on seasonality and demand.
“We are excited to offer a new way of travel to the people of Santa Barbara,” said Pierre Gourdain, managing director of FlixBus USA. “This is just a first introduction of FlixBus to this great city. We expect in the upcoming months to launch more connections including to San Luis Obispo, San Francisco, San Jose,and San Diego.”
The first FlixBus stop in Santa Barbara is located at the Amtrak station.
FlixBus has become the largest bus provider in the world in terms of network reach, connecting people across 29 countries with more than 350,000 daily connections in Europe and the United States.
