AppFolio hires new chief revenue officer

Goleta-based AppFolio, a software as a service company for the real estate industry, announced Aug. 12 that it has hired Marcy Campbell as the firm’s chief revenue officer.

In the newly created role, Campbell will lead the Sales and Client Services organizations, connecting the entire customer journey by accelerating customer acquisition, according to a Aug. 12 press release.

“I am thrilled to join AppFolio’s mission of building the platform where the real estate industry comes to do business,” Campbell said in a press release. “AppFolio is committed to delivering an exceptional end-to-end customer experience and I look forward to helping our team accelerate the value we deliver to customers, while scaling and growing our business.”

Campbell joins AppFolio after most recently serving as the chief revenue officer at Boomi, a software company that specializes in integration platform.

Campbell has also held several senior leadership roles at PayPal, where she managed large global teams, spanning across two of PayPal’s preeminent business units.
