Camarillo firm outfoxes Sean Hannity

Fox News commentator Sean Hannity has picked a fight with the wrong guy.
He’s gotten under the skin of Matt Kolb, the president of National Coatings Corp., a small, successful roofing materials company based in Camarillo. Kolb, to put it mildly, is steamed about Hannity’s inopportune wisecracks about white roof coatings.
National Coatings Corp. is a 20-person company. And Kolb was walking on air on May 28 when Energy Secretary Steven Chu gave a talk in London where he touted the energy savings virtues of white roofs. The Energy Secretary’s remarks were, in part, the culmination of years of research by National Coatings and others in the industry who have proved beyond any scientific doubt that their products extend the lives of roofs on warehouses and other industrial buildings and save countless megawatts of power each year.
