Tribune gets new president
The San Luis Obispo County Tribune announced Sept. 30 that as of Oct. 13, Bruce Ray will be the new president and publisher of the newspaper.
The 38-year-old has been the paper’s chief financial officer since July 2007.
Ray replaces Joseph “Chip” Visci, who has been in the newspaper business for 30 years. Visci came to The Tribune in 2004 after working as president and publisher of the San Jose Mercury News.
