SLO OKs upgrades
The San Luis Obispo City Council approved a project that would upgrade Highway 101 at Los Osos Valley Road, according published reports.
The project has received $14 million in state funding, according to published reports, and will expand the Los Osos Valley Road bridge over Highway 101, upgrade on- and off-ramps and widen the city road as it approaches South Higuera Street.
The council voted 5-0 to approve the project, published reports said, which had been modified after property owners near the interchange raised concerns about traffic and safety.
