Fiji Water owners buy Justin Vineyards
Justin Vineyards & Winery, one of Paso Robles’ largest wineries, has been purchased by the owners of the Fiji Water and Pom Wonderful pomegranate juice brands, the company announced Dec. 6. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Justin Vineyards was the 11th-largest winery in the Tri-Counties in 2009, with 60,000 cases produced, according to the Business Times’ annual survey of the region’s wineries.
Roll International, the parent company of Fiji Water and Pom Wonderful, said it plans to keep Justin’s current operations in Paso Robles and retain founders Justin and Deborah Baldwin, as well as Fred Holloway, the winery’s director of production and winemaking.
Editor’s note: An earlier version of this article misstated Justin Vineyards’ ranking on the Business Times’ list of largest wineries. Justin is the 11th-largest winery in the region, not the 10th-largest.
