Measure B height limit protested
Opponents of Santa Barbara’s Measure B gathered in front of Santa Barbara City Hall on Aug. 18 for a news conference. According to Noozhawk, the No on B coalition has concerns about how the measure would impact future constructions in the city’s downtown.
Opponents include the American Institute of Architects’ Santa Barbara Chapter, Homebuilders Association of the Central Coast and the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors. Both sides of the measure will debate Sept. 9 at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.
