A Salesforce.com executive is the new CEO of Santa Barbara call intelligence company Invoca, the company announced Oct. 11.
Greg Johnson took over at the beginning of October for former CEO Mark Woodward, who stepped aside after 15 months as Invoca CEO because of personal matters.
Johnson, formerly a senior vice president of product management at Salesforce.com, led Salesforce.com’s Marketing Cloud’s social marketing product line. He spent 11 years at Salesforce, where he also worked as senior director of product management and as vice president of product management.
Johnson will be the third CEO for Invoca in 15 months. In June of 2015, Woodward took over for Invoca founder and CEO Jason Spievak. Woodward said when he took over that he planned to take the company public sometime in 2017.
In April, Woodward finished a $30 million Series D equity funding round for the company led by new partner Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners and existing partners Accel Partners, Upfront Ventures, Santa Barbara’s Rincon Venture Partners and Stepstone.
Johnson will make his first formal appearance as CEO at the company’s customer conference in Santa Barbara on Oct. 20.
