Inogen names new CEO
Inogen, a medical device company in Goleta that makes portable oxygen concentrators, named a new president and CEO on Jan. 27.
Nabil Shabshab, 56, will lead the company starting Feb. 8, Inogen said. He has spent the last nine years with the medical technology company Becton Dickinson and Company, including the past three and a half years as its worldwide president of diabetes care and digital health.
Shabshab will replace Scott Wilkinson, who is retiring after 15 years with Inogen and four as its president and CEO. The company announced in June 2020 that Wilkinson would be retiring before the end of 2021. He is also retiring from the board of directors.
