IN THIS ARTICLE

Pearce Renewables, a Paso Robles-based operator of renewable energy structures, announced Sept. 16 that it has acquired Mountain Renewables, a provider of technical field services for wind energy and utility-scale solar.

Pearce Renewables is a subsidiary of Pearce Services, a Paso Robles company that services infrastructure in the telecommunications, railroad, energy and utility industries. It did not disclose financial details of the Mountain Renewables acquisition.

“The addition of Mountain Renewables adds to Pearce’s deep expertise and provides an outstanding complement to our end-to-end technical services, operations, and maintenance capabilities,” Zack Dorfman, Pearce Renewables’ senior vice president of wind, said in a company news release. “We are extremely impressed with their innovative approach to customer solutions and the high degree of cultural alignment with Pearce.”

Mountain Renewables, based in Tehachapi, is Pearce Renewables’ third acquisition this year, following deals with Mortenson Energy Services in June and A & A Wind Pros in March. With the acquisition of Mountain Renewables, Pearce now has more than 850 technicians nationwide.
