Announcing this year’s Central Coast Best Places to Work

IN THIS ARTICLE

The Pacific Coast Business Times sends out an annual survey asking employees about their workplaces, and the following report is this, the Central Coast Best Places to Work.

This year’s report features a lot of new faces, and for good reason: response to this year’s survey was among the highest we’ve seen in the years we’ve been running it. More than 1,200 employees took the time to tell us what they thought of their workplaces, and the places they worked varied from big, international firms to small mom-and-pop shops to nonprofits and governmental organizations and everything in between.

People who took the survey were asked to rate their employers’ stances and policies on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best possible score. To collect a fair, equal score across the board, we averaged the responses.

We then broke the list into two separate parts: Best Places to Work, which is based on the total average of those survey responses, and Companies to Watch, which includes a lot of incredible businesses that may not have had enough responses to collect a strong average.

The report, and all of the companies included in it, can be found here.
