Goleta-based Kate Farms, which manufactures plant-based nutrition products, executed one of its long-term goals with the announcement of its national retail debut.
As of March 12, Kate Farms launched its new Kids Nutrition product line, which is now available at Target, marking the first time their organic nutrition solutions will be available at a major national retailer.
This expansion is part of Kate Farms’ plan to bring its products to more families, offering a convenient, high-quality option for growing children.
“We are thrilled that Target will be the first retailer in the nation to make our Kids Nutrition shakes more accessible to families nationally,” said Brett Matthews, CEO of Kate Farms.
“This exciting expansion aligns with our mission to provide high-quality, plant-based nutrition to families across the country.”
Kate Farms Kids Nutrition is designed for ages 1 to 13 and delivers 8g of organic pea protein, 27 vitamins and minerals, and DHA to help support brain and eye health — all without common allergens, artificial sweeteners, or preservatives.
It comes in three kid-approved flavors — chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla — offering a delicious and nutritious option for growing kids.
The product is also available through online retailers, medical channels and WIC.
“Bringing Kate Farms to Target is an exciting milestone in our mission to make high-quality, plant-based nutrition available to more families,” said Catherine Hayden, Chief Marketing Officer of Kate Farms.
“We’re proud to offer Kids Nutrition as a convenient, clinically backed option that meets those expectations. Availability at Target allows us to reach more families where they already shop, making it easier than ever to choose a nutritious, plant-based option for their kids.”
