South Coast welcomes new brokerage, old names

Two of the biggest players in the South Coast commercial real estate industry have switched teams.
Stephen Leider and Clarice Cornell Clarke, now shareholders of Lee & Associates commercial real estate, will launch a Santa Barbara office for the national real estate brokerage on Aug. 1. Leider was a founding partner of Leider Hayes Commercial Real Estate in Santa Barbara, where Clarke was also a partner and founder.
Leider Hayes will operate as Hayes Commercial Group, headed by Steve Hayes, Francois DeJohn, Dan Moll, and new partner Michael Martz.
With about two decades of experience in the market, Leider has focused on large scale retail projects throughout the Central Coast. In 1996, he founded his first real estate company, which later joined with Steve Hayes to form Leider Hayes.
