Street Smarts: 2022 shaping up as a change year in Ventura County politics
It looks like there is going to be significant turnover in Ventura County politics this year. Clerk-Recorder Mark Lunn, Treasurer and Tax Collector Steven Hintz and Assessor Dan Goodwin have all decided not to run for re-election. Street Smarts: State rolls out grant program for smallest businesses affected by pandemic
Microbusiness grants are becoming available for companies with less than $50,000 in revenue that have been impacted by COVID-19. Under a program set to launch March 7, Santa Barbara County is partnering with the Santa Barbara Foundation to launch its program for north and south county businesses.
