Amgen’s Humira biosimilar delayed, Enbrel approved
Amgen’s Humira biosimilar Amjevita will be delayed at least through 2017 due to litigation by competitor AbbVie. Goleta-based Resonant reported a $4 million net loss, or a loss of 39 cents per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2016, up from a $2.9 million — or 40 cents per diluted share — loss in 2015. Sientra reported a net loss of $10 million for the third quarter of 2016, ended Sept. 30, and announced the acquisition of a new line of products. Santa Barbara cloud software firm AppFolio is edging closer to profitability.
