FDA declines to approve Novartis biosimilar for Amgen’s Neulasta

Ceres third-quarter revenue up, losses down
Thousand Oaks-based ag-biotech company Ceres Inc. released third quarter results in documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission July 15. Amgen partnering with Japanese company to develop biosimilars
Thousand Oaks-based biotech giant Amgen said July 13 it will partner with a Japanese company to develop and commercialize biosimilars in Japan. Under the partnership, Amgen will develop and manufacture biosimilars while Daiichi Sankyo will obtain marketing approval, distribution and commercialization rights in Japan for the products.
